Paula Renner earned her associate degree in Nursing from Walters State Community College in Morristown, Tenn. After graduating in 2002, she worked for six years as a labor and delivery and neonatal intensive care unit nurse. She spent five years working in emergency medicine.
With over 11 years of real-world healthcare experience, Renner returned to college. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Bristol’s King College in 2011, followed by a graduate degree from King in 2013. She brings her wealth of learning and experience to the field of pain management and works hard to alleviate suffering and help patients return to their normal activities.
Renner is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner and a member of the American Nurses Association. She was born and raised in Greeneville, Tenn. and continues to live in her home town with her husband and two children.
