Lisa was born in Chicago, Illinois and obtained a Bachelor’s in Science degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago. After moving to Tennessee to obtain a Master’s in Science degree in Counseling from the University of Memphis, she fell in love with Tennessee and now calls the state her home. Lisa then earned a Master’s in Nursing degree from Vanderbilt University and has been a practicing Nurse Practitioner form 20 years.
She has worked in both primary care and pain management and is board certified through the American Nursing Credentialing Center as well as a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society. Through the knowledge gathered from her job and education experience, Lisa applies a wholistic approach to pain management, understanding the complexities of general and psychiatric health issues as they relate to pain. Her caring and balanced approach to pain management works to improve the function and quality of life of each patient she sees.
Lisa currently lives in Manchester, Tennessee with her family.
