Dr. James E. Hicks is from Junction City, Kansas. He is a licensed chiropractic physician in Virginia with past licenses held in Kansas, Georgia, and Ohio. He has been a practicing chiropractor for over twenty years. He received his Bachelor’s Degree (BS) from the United States Military Academy (USMA) at West Point. He served in the U.S. Army as a commissioned officer on active duty and in the reserves. After his military tour of duty, he worked as a mid-level manager with Procter & Gamble until he became a chiropractor. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree with cum laude honors from Cleveland Chiropractic College.
Dr. Hicks holds a Diplomate with the American Academy of Pain Management; a Fellow and Diplomate with the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture and International Academy of Chiropractic Acupuncture. He is a graduate of The Energetix International College of Bioenergetic Medicine and is certified to perform Manipulation Under Anesthesia (MUA).
Dr. Hicks has operated natural wellness-based clinics that have focused on patients’ wellness through chiropractic care, employing diet, nutrition, exercise, weight loss, and detoxification measures to facilitate their healing process. Ongoing patient education and awareness with a focus on total wellness has been the primary goal.
