Dorothy Crowder earned her Master’s Degree in Nursing with a concentration in Family Practice from Vanderbilt University. Before and while obtaining her degree, she spent 10 years in the US Air Force and Tennessee Air National Guard, where she attained the rank of Staff Sergeant. She worked on an A10A and C130H aircraft and served in Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm.
After graduating in 1997, she went on to work in a variety of settings, including Emergency Medicine, Family Practice, and a not-for-profit clinic in Nashville. For four years, she owned her own practice in Hartsville, Tennessee. For the past two years, Dorothy has been in Pain Management, with the continued goal of helping patients reach their goals.
Dorothy is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the ANCC. She is a member of the Tennessee Nurses association. She currently resides in Trousdale County, Tennessee with her family.
